Car Parking
(Richmond, Virginia - VA, USA)
There is a variety of parking options available to the public at Richmond International Airport (RIC) including short-term and long-term garage parking and long-term surface parking as well as economy, valet and disabled parking.
Options for payment include paying by cash or credit card at the barrier upon exit or by making use of the AutoExpress option inside the terminal. All major credit cards are accepted.
Short-Term Multi-Level Garage
The most convenient parking option at the airport is the multi-level parking garages, located directly in front of the terminal. Hourly parking is available in both the North and the South parking garages. There is a grace period of 30 minutes, making parking here ideal for pickups and drop-offs. After the first 30 minutes, fees apply.
Long-Term Garage / Surface
The North and South garage car parks offer daily parking. The South Garage has recently been expanded and even if both garages become full, there is a long-term surface car park located nearby. Long-term parking has a 30-minute grace period.
Economy
For those who are going away for long holidays, it will pay to park in one of the Economy parking lots (A, B, and C), which are remotely located on the airport site and fed by free, 24-hour shuttle buses.
Valet
Business travelers and those with less time on their hands have the option of valet parking at Richmond International Airport. Drivers are met at the terminal entrance at a prearranged time and their car is then parked in a safe compound by a chauffeur. Drivers are met with their car on their return to the airport.
Disabled
All car parks at Richmond International Airport have disabled parking spaces, which are conveniently located near to elevators and shuttle bus stops. Disabled drivers must have their disabled badge on display and porter assistance can be requested.
