Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
Richmond International Airport (RIC) is not overrun with shopping options yet it has a good choice nonetheless. You will find a Hudson News store in the central Departures atrium on the upper level as well as in each of the Departures concourses. There is also confectionery stores dotted around the terminal, but there are no duty-free options.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
Options for eating at Richmond International Airport are in the form of cafés and snack bars, which are all located on the upper level. The excellent Richmond Café Bar can be found on the upper level atrium area along with Jake's Coffeehouse, while various snack bars are available on both concourses.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
Full banking services are available at the BB&T branch of Virginia Bank, which is located in the main atrium on the ground level, while ATM machines are situated on both levels and in the lobbies of the parking garages.
Business and Conference Facilities
Richmond International Airport (RIC) comes equipped with a teleconferencing center, which has commendable business facilities including telephones, fax machines and free Internet access. The center is located on the lower level of the terminal building and comes complete with a conference room. In addition, Wi-Fi Internet access is available on the upper level to those with enabled laptop computers.
Disabled Facilities
Essential passenger facilities are also in place for passengers who are physically disabled, wheelchair-bound or hard of hearing. Ramps and elevators are conveniently located and restrooms have been adapted, along with telephones; porter assistance can also be requested.
